The Bay Area HomeBuyer Agency is one of six partners in the Oakland Community Land Trust (OakCLT).
 
The OakCLT was awarded funding from the Department of Housing Development and the City of Oakland to acquire, rehabilitate and resell vacant foreclosed properties to low-to-moderate income families in the neighborhoods most impacted by the foreclosure crisis. The primary objective of the initiative is to combat the blight, crime and degradation caused by the foreclosure crisis by expanding home ownership and economic opportunities for low income families and households that reside and or work in Oakland.
